I often feel uncomfortable when wearing super girly things like frills, ruffles and bows but this dress seems to work for me when paired with my all-time favorite boots because they instantly tone down the femininity and add a bit of edge. Wearing boots with a dress feels a bit rebellious, which I like because I can very easily look too preppy and girly.
I like this dress because it feels Parisian (such a nod to eighties Paris) and is a subtle way to wear one of spring's hottest trends - playful prints which have been plastered all over the pages of Vogue & Harper's Bazar and up and down runways of Gucci and Saint Laurent. This dress would just as easily go with my Stuart Weitzman 'Nudists' or my Stan Smiths sneaks, making it an extremely versatile wardrobe piece. xx
