BLK + CREAM | WHY I DO MY BEST TO BUY WARDROBE ESSENTIALS

Saks Fifth Avenue recently invited me to come shop their new spring collection. I was super excited about the opportunity to work with such a huge fashion brand! After trying on the entire store, I landed on this Helmut Lang Denim jacket + cream knit sweater because they’re both timeless essentials.

I’m conscious about the clothing I add to my wardrobe each season because every new item takes up physical and mental space. I like essentials because they break the cycle of feeling like you constantly need to keep up with trends. It’s okay to love fashion but being mindful of our purchases makes sure we’re building wardrobes we love, filled with items we can wear for years and years.
