A WEEKEND AWAY IN OLD MONTREAL WITH MY LOVE

If you watched my Instagram stories, you’d know I recently got back from a fun long weekend getaway in Montréal with Jose. We booked a gorgeous hotel suite in the heart of Old Port, which I’ve been dying to visit and we didn’t even need to pay for it because we redeemed our Membership Rewards points for our accommodations. I couldn't think of a better way to use the points we’ve been collecting on everyday purchases like groceries and clothing. I find it so satisfying to watch my points grow on my Amex App and then being able to use those points for purchases, like special getaway experiences for us.

After checking into our stunning suite, we couldn’t wait to go explore. I instantly fell in love with the city’s architecture and relaxed European vibe. The charming cobblestone streets and old-world atmosphere were such a nice contrast to our lifestyle in Toronto. Everything was so beautiful and inspiring that we couldn’t help but take a million photos as we walked to and from cute restaurants and popped into shops.

Another thing that made the trip enjoyable is how easy the Amex App makes our lives when we’re travelling. I love that it lets me check my spending, including my recent and pending transactions, and set up personalized notifications that help me stay on top of my accounts, like balance updates and bill payment reminders. It makes it that much easier to keep track of everything while I’m on the go. My life goal is to be as organized and stress free as possible while exploring new cities with my love, and the Amex App is a huge help when it comes to financial organization!
