Our new home is slowly coming along.

Over the weekend, Jose took down the silver industrial-style hanging pendants from above the island, and installed these minimal white light fixtures.

I wanted something that wouldn’t obstruct my view while preparing food at the island. Now I can see all the way to the front of the house and even outside the windows along the front of the house.

Our next kitchen project is floating kitchen shelves but the process has been made a bit more complicated due to social isolating laws in Ontario.
