Happy Monday beauties! Yesterday we brunched at Momofuko Daisho. It was so lovely going back to Daisho with Jose, it brought back so many wedding day memories. I've been twice since our wedding, once with a group of girlfriends and then for a media brunch during fashion week and I've never been disappointed.
I like wearing super casual clothing to brunch on Sundays but I still want to look stylish so I wore an oversized t shirt, stretchy skinnies and then threw my leather on top to instantly elevate my look. Flats are a Sunday-must and I like to bring along my micro YSL because who wants to lug around a big bag on the weekend? Not I.
I'm also loving this minimalist mesh all black watch. When your accessories are on point it really doesn't matter that you threw on your husbands baggy t-shirt and your most comfortable jeans because you look put together. Details are everything.
This upstairs space is absolutely stunning when the sunlight pours in. It rained cats and dogs on our wedding day (pretty sure there was a hurricane happening) so we didn't get the outdoor wedding we had in mind but thankfully everything else made up for it. Instead we had an incredibly cozy and intimate dinner with our friends and family while sharing the most amazing family style food and wine. My family from the east coast still raves about the food so I don't think anymore noticed the tsunami outside ;)
We chose this venue because of the stunning floor to ceiling windows, light wood floors and incredible light. It really is one of the most stunning venues in Toronto. Perfect for well-lit selfies (#priorities).
