YSL BEAUTY'S TATOUAGE COUTURE IS NAKED LIP GOALS

Hi beauties,

Taking these photos got me thinking about when I fell in love with lipstick. I was a creative child who fell in love with makeup at a young age. When I was little you could always find me playing dress up, doing arts & crafts, painting my nails with glitter or cutting my Barbie’s hair.

The first time I was introduced to makeup, I was 4 or 5 and my Nannie Black (as my sister and I call her) gave me a makeup bag filled with fancy samples she received from buying cosmetics and fragrances from department stores. It was literally like receiving a bag of gold. I instantly got lost in a world of fantasy + self expression.

Fast-forward to present day, I haven’t let that love for make up and beauty products go. I’m someone who always has at least 2-3 lipsticks, glosses or balms in her bag. I constantly rotate my favourite shades for the particular season we’re in with what I call “my favourite old faithful’s”. Consisting of lip products I can’t stop wearing and continue to rebuy over and over again.

I just got my hands on YSL Beauty’s new Tatouage Couture Collection and have been wearing it everywhere because I live for matte stains!!! 

Inspired by tattoos (YES!), this new formula delivers 18 highly pigmented nudes and bright mattes with an undetectable naked lip feel. I love the look of having a natural lip with just a veil of beautiful colour so this collection is right up my alley. Shade #16 is my go-to right now but there are so many other gorgeous shades that are perfect for fall. I seriously can’t wait to try them all.
