Have you ever seen something online and become crazy ex-girlfriend stalker obsessed? I have. I started noticing this cross blanket on blogs and Pintrest and instantly fell in love. I did a bit of digging to discover it's a famous blanket from Swedish designer Pia Wallen and of course it's a limited addition blanket with only a few hundred being produced each year. They're made on a rural farm in Sweden using the wool of local sheep.
The blanket is very hard to come by in Canada so thank god I live in the greatest city ever. I found a local store in Toronto's "Junction" area called Mjölk. The kind gentleman at the store was extremely helpful and explained that these amazing blankets are most likely going to be discontinued because Pia is finding it hard to ensure the wool used is ethically sourced. Needless to say, I jumped on the opportunity to make the purchase.
