I hope everyone had a great Easter weekend! I had a very social and kinda busy weekend which entailed a friend's 30th birthday brunch at Mildred's in Liberty Village. Everyone in the large group pretty much ordered the same thing, blueberry pancakes (AMAZING) and what seemed like an endless supply of champagne with freshly squeezed grapefruit juice.
Saturday was my brother in laws birthday held at Milagro on Queen West, where everyone sipped margaritas and enjoyed tacos and ceviche. Sunday we did the family easter thing. All and all, it was a great weekend.
I'm so grateful to live in a city that offers so much culture and has such a great energy. We're still in the stage of life where a large group of friends can get together at a moments notice to enjoy great food, company and to celebrate each others birthdays. I'm cherishing these years, because I know soon enough everyone is going to get married and start families, which is a scary but very beautiful thing. I sometimes wish we could hit the pause button and stay in this stage forever.
