WEEKEND GETAWAY w/ BMW CANADA
Hi beauties,
When Jose and I found out we had the chance to experience the BMW 6 Series Gran Turismo for the weekend we thought what better way to make the most of it and sneak away on a road trip. We found this stunning, cozy, Nordic feeling house in the woods and the next thing you know, we’re headed North West to Grey Highlands, near Collingwood Ontario in the most luxurious car ever.
The drive up was pretty amazing and probably one of my favourite parts of the weekend because I was so relaxed and comfortable the entire drive. The sun shined through the Panorama glass roof making the entire interior feel super open and full of light. I put my seat back, turned on the in-seat back massage (yes this is thing) and gazed out at the gorgeous blue sky and snowy scenery and handsome hubs.
Driving in this car felt similar to being on an airplane as you’re just coasting along in the sky because it’s the perfect balance between feeling like you’re driving a sports car and being the most comfortable ride every. Every detail inside the gorgeous interior has been thought-out and designed to be intuitive. I loved having the Surround View sensors and cameras because they pretty much did the work for me when parking and manoeuvring around snow banks. I also loved that I could twirl my fingers around in circles to adjust the music (yes that’s for real).
I spent time being cozy in front of the fireplace, drinking wine and cooking with Jose. We also ventured into Collingwood, which is a pretty cute town. They have everything you’d need in small town like a great Sunday morning coffee spot (Gibson & Co), delicious eggs benedict with smoked salmon + mimosas and a Parisian vibe brunch (Tremont Cafe), smoothies at Juice Co and a good Mexican spot called Bent. What more could you ask for?
I can’t wait to plan our next adventure/escape. xx
