May 24 SPRING SHOPPING YOUR WAY AT THE HOLT RENFREW CENTRE

Hi beauties,

I hope you're all feeling recharged after the long weekend and as excited about spring as I am.

It should come as no surprise to you all that I love to shop. But, it may be shocking to hear that I, a totally internet-savvy millennial, prefer to do my shopping in-store.

Call me old school, but I love the feeling of entering one of my favourite stores and seeing all the newness. Methodically going through each section, making sure not to miss a single item in the entire store, gives me both a rush of excitement and sparks creative inspiration.

When T he Holt Renfrew Centre reached out about collaborating I jumped at the opportunity. I love spending time in Yorkville and Holt Renfrew is genuinely one of my favourite places to shop in Toronto.

Whether I’m running to a blogger event, media preview, meeting up with clients, or spending a leisurely Saturday with Jose people watching, no trip to Yorkville is complete without popping by the Holt Renfrew Centre.

I love that I can go down to the concourse area (located below Holt Renfrew) to pick up an iced Americano at Starbucks (because we all know that every successful shopping endeavor must start with a caffeine boost). While I’m down there I always pop into Trade Secrets to pick up any professional hair + beauty products I need and stopping into M and Femme de Carrier for cute fashion pieces is a must.

Last week, before attending a blogger event in Yorkville, I needed to find a few essentials to round out my spring wardrobe. Naturally, I stopped into my two favourites: Aritzia and Zara.

I tried on so many beautiful pieces and ended up falling in love with these vintage style jeans + white blazer. I need to feel comfortable but look put together when I attend events and meetings with clients so, this blazer and denim combo was a no-brainer. I LOVE the look of vintage denim but find ridged denim hard to get over my thighs. The 1% elastane in these AGOLDE jeans is everything to me. Unlike normal denim, which has me itching for the moment I can slip into leggings, pyjamas, or anything with a stretchy waistband, I haven’t taken these off since getting them.
